As Canadians, we make the most of our short summer months. One of our summer time rituals has to be attending a few of the many music festivals taking place across Canada.

Music festivals and other live music events in Canada contribute significantly to the economy. According to a Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) study, the live music sector as a whole (including festivals, concerts and other live events) generated $10.92 billion for Canada’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2023.

Take out the porta potties and the long line ups for expensive beer, and there’s no place I’d rather be. Hope to see you at these Canadian music festivals this summer.
